Sushi, gifts and a special bag
We had friends over for sushi dinner tonight, got a lovely gift from them too! Homemade blueberry jam and applesauce and two kitchen linen. The reason why I photographed the Moma bag is that it's is a "gift-bag" that's been circling around different homes since year 2000:) The gift we got was in it. I wonder who all had it before us..
Next time we're going for example to a housewarming party we'll give the bag with a gift inside to the hosts, then again it's their turn to pass it on. And so it goes on, fun!
Does somebody know what the name for such a thing like this bag is in English? :)
PS. Thank you SO MUCH for all the birthday wishes!!

Hmmm, I don't know the English word for that kind of bag...
It looks very nice and cozy on the pictures :) Who's the cutie making the sushi? :)
mysiga bilder, fina presenter o vilken kul påse! men inte ska väl påsen få ta åt sej ALL äran för hemgjord sylt etc, den är ju ändå bara budbäraren ;)
ps, vad är det stora blanka svarta bakom apelsinerna??
rynke, it was cosy, I want more! it's rasmus, my bf;D
lisen, haha neej, det blev ju lite så kanske då jag berättade om påsens funktion:D
det svarta blanka är en brödlåda! den har vi också fått i present, dock av ngn annan:)
aha! nu ser jag ju... snygg!
I would call that bag a "shopping bag" because it's not really a gift bag in that gift bags are paid money for and that looks like the free bags Moma gives you when you shop at their museum store. It's really cool though that the bag is being passed around like that! The bags Moma has at the moment are not nearly as cool as that one from 2000! But 2010 is almost here and I'll look in January to see if they start having bags that have 2010 on them.
mary beth, yes I know that it's a free bag that Moma gives when you buy something from their museum shop. I just had no clue what to call it when it's being passed around with a gift inside, so I wrote gift bag:)
