Days

Thanks for the get well wishes:) Now I feel good except for a cough that does not want to give up..

I've had some nice Christmas days with my family and friends. Calm days except for a traditional party on the 27th called Indie Vaudeville where friends like Jan from Danger!Danger! was dj:ing, Cats on Fire, Iiris Viljanen, The Casbah played.
I also tried to go sale shopping but I got tired of it because of all the rush.

I'm looking forward to New Years Eve tomorrow, I think we're starting the evening with a dinner with some friends and after we'll go to a party, depending on the mood!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Love apartments

I got this wonderful book yesterday! I bought it from Tas-Ka. I always love to read articles about peoples apartments in magazines, now I got a whole book to read! Or actually I can only look at the pictures because the book is in Japanese. But the pictures are so great I don't mind.

Have a good Saturday!

A different view..

Something really exciting took place in our bedroom window last night!
Artist Tomasz Szramas video installation was showed in the window from yesterday evening until this morning. It looked so strange and amazing at the same time, I'm sure people who passed our house got a slight shock;)

So we slept in the livingroom. I wonder how it would've been to wake up in the middle of the night with the eye staring at you!
You can read a bit more about it here.

"An enormous ambiguous eye stares from the window. It appears physically and psychologically trapped in the confines of the window frame and alludes to a larger body within. Perhaps it merely observes, maybe it controls, … or positions itself in judgment. Perhaps it’s the eye of a neighbour, Big Brother, or an all-seeing God. Perhaps it is confused."

Here are some more pictures from the studio space. We brang some things there on Saturday and we still have a lot more to do. We're also thinking of re-painting the floor and the ceiling white, right now they look so ugly. The ceiling is black and that makes the place feel smaller.
I think I'll go there later tonight and fix some more so I can start working there soon, more pictures later!

A new studio!

(My corner!)

Finally we got our own studio! (In the old soapfactory). Got the keys on Wednesday and tomorrow we'll start "moving in". It's a quite big space and we're six who's sharing it, that makes the rent low. Only around 50 euros each per month. Now we just need to freshen it up and make it cosy.
I'll show some more pictures of the place after the weekend!

Happy weekend:)

Hello you

Now I'm going to ask this little question like so many other bloggers did.
I'm so curious on who's reading my blog! Even if this would be the first time you're here and not blogging yourself, I would be happy if you just left a quick comment:)

So PLEASE live a comment and say who you are and where you're from, it's of course ok if you just want to say a "hi" and nothing else too!

Thanks;)

Indoors

I was indoors the whole day yesterday writing an essay for a subject in school. Finally I think it's finished! That means I have to move my legs a bit today.
The weather is bad, the snow is gone and now it's all grey and wet...so it doesn't really attract me to go outside, but I have to do some shopping.

PS. We also ate buns and drank chocolatemilk yesterday, that happens very rarely in our home...but it was gooooood;)

See you later!
