Hurry hurry

Lollipops I took from work, we have a whole box of them in the kitchen (at work). Don't think I'll eat them..think they just taste like sugar.

Tomorrow I have a meeting at school and I will talk about my graduation-project. I still haven't decided completely what to do..too many ideas in my head! It all should be finished in March, I feel like I'm in a hurry!! I promise to show some ideas + work when I CAN.

Avocado breakfast

The funeral of my great grandmother yesterday went really well, it was very beautiful. A day of sunshine, crisp air, tears and laughter.

This morning started with sunshine too, and avocados:) I just came home from work..and I'm soon leaving again, it's Christmas opening in my town and I'm going there with my sister for a while. Don't think I stay long though, it's going to be packed with people.

Friday

It's Friday already! A rainy Friday..
Hope you're all fine and have good plans for the weekend! I'm planning to relax and paint.
Tomorrow's the funeral. I'm a little nervous about it..funerals are always so sad.

Sushi, gifts and a special bag

We had friends over for sushi dinner tonight, got a lovely gift from them too! Homemade blueberry jam and applesauce and two kitchen linen. The reason why I photographed the Moma bag is that it's is a "gift-bag" that's been circling around different homes since year 2000:) The gift we got was in it. I wonder who all had it before us..
Next time we're going for example to a housewarming party we'll give the bag with a gift inside to the hosts, then again it's their turn to pass it on. And so it goes on, fun!

Does somebody know what the name for such a thing like this bag is in English? :)

26 years

Today is my Birthday, suddenly I'm twentysix years old:) Time goes by faster the older you get! Birthday brunch: a big omelette with beans and aspargus.

Tornio-Haparanda and home

Phew, we drove about 1000 km yesterday! The way up there went pretty fast but back home went sloowly..Maybe it always feels like that.
Today was a relaxing home-day, some organizing and cleaning. Tomorrow is my birthday and my family's coming over so I need to tidy up a bit:)

Just came home from work. I held workshop for kids today at the museum, it's fun and time goes fast. What did you do today?

Early tomorrow morning we're going up to Tornio to pick up Rasmus artwork that has been there on an exhibition. It's going to be fun with a little roadtrip:)

Friday dinner

Rasmus wanted to make a secret dinner so he closed the kitchen door and didn't let me in. But after a while I sneaked in anyway:) We eat almost always different food because I'm vegetarian-he's not. But it works.

Sleep

I wish I could have 12 more hours of this day, feels like I have half of my plans undone! Today went by too fast..

(Another thing is that I should start eat an orange per day, they are so sweet and juicy now. I just hate to peel them. So when I'm lazy I eat them like this)

..today. But this was a few hours ago, now it's snowing again.

I can't help but longing for summer while I'm listening to this song.

Monday

Thank you all so much for your comments on my last post! I really appreciate it, you are all so wonderful!

It was snowing almost all weekend but it's now gone and grey again.
I didn't take many pictures, but at least this one I took from our window Saturday evening ;)
I don't have work until Thursday so now I have time to completely focus on my schoolwork.

Fanny Linnéa

My great-grandmother passed away this morning. She was ill and we were all quite prepared for the worse. But it still came like a shock.

The first picture is from Christmas eve two years ago, she's holding my cat Spöke. Now I miss them both:(
The second picture of her cute crooked fingers is from her 95th birthday last spring, the day she got her nails painted for the first time and asked if it will stay on until her next birthday.

Luckily I went to see her on Tuesday and we looked through a photoalbum for the last time together. She will be so missed.

Celebrating at my mom's place

It's my other little sisters birthday today, woohoo!! We celebrated with icecream at my mother's. Sune was happy to join with a bow around his neck, playing with a bouncing ball :)

Thought I would have had a lot done today, but no, my creativity has locked itself! Tomorrow is another day off and I expect to get twice more done than today. I'm repeating myself again..

November

A very grey 1st day of November, still no snow. But I can feel it's coming soon!

Crazy...it's soon Christmas...soon it is time to buy or make Christmas presents...how do you feel about that?

A weekend with a little bit of everything

Another good weekend has passed! Friend Anna came over on Saturday, we cooked dinner and later more friends joined and we went to see Cats on Fire.
The glitter and homemade teeth are for a party next week:) Maybe you can guess what kind of party it is..

I'm in a period when I love fresh springrolls, could eat them every day. I bought cheap fabric yesterday, maybe I'll do some pillowcases of it.
