Studiotalk
cars on the yard next to the studio
I had a first meeting with my mentor today in the studio and it went really good I think! We talked about my upcoming show (in January, approaching very fast..) and also a bit about my final exam work next spring. Phew, so much to do!
I haven't showed you much of my work and I even don't have a website/portfolio (coming hopefully soon). A lot of other things have been going on this year!
But I promise you and myself that I'll start producing more art and show it more often on the blog:)
Silence
The view from the bridge I biked over this morning. It has been a beautiful hot day!
Some of you wanted the recipe for the olivebread! It's a very simple one, here it goes:
2 big olivebreads
50g yeast
5 dl warm water
1 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons honey or syrup
2 dl graham flour
11 dl bread flour
chopped or whole olives, green or black
Mix the yeast with a bit of water in a bowl. Add oil, salt, honey or syrup, olives, flour and the rest of the warm water.
Knead the dough on a floured board. Let rise about 1 hour, until it doubles in size. Heat oven to 225°C.
Round the dough on kneading board, do not knead! Separate it gently into 2 pieces.
Let it stand for another 15 minutes, spray it with water or oliveoil and dust it with flour. Then bake it for 20 minutes. Finished!

Olive
It's nice to be off on sunny days! The beginning of the day I spent with my mum and sisters, after that I went to the studio. When I came home I decided that from now on I'm going to bake my own bread (at least try to).
I tried out olivebread and I'm quite pleased with the result so I think I will continue make my own as often as I can.
+ I'm SO HAPPY that I won Kristis giveaway, I can't almost believe it! thank you!

Very strange weather today, raining on one side of the house but not on the other, sunshine and then rain again..
We had dinner with my family in the afternoon, Sune was exploring the garden and eating grass. He loves to be outside now and then even if he is an indoor cat.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend! (Thank you for the movie tips;)
Danger Danger
My friend Jan organized DangerDanger party again on both Friday and Saturday, it was great and we danced and danced. Zebra and Snake performed on Saturday, they were really good!
A shame that the place was far from crowded:/

My voice is almost back:)
Today was a grey and rainy day. Brr, last weekend was really freezing! Where is the summer-warmth!
I had thought I would be in the studio all week but nope, other urgent things came up and I've been assisting for an installation which must be completed on Saturday, I'm not doing much more than sewing a lot but it's fun:)
Yesterday was Rasmus 28th birthday and we celebrated it with good food and wine!

Söndag
We went to eat sushi at our friends place yesterday and it was such a nice evening! Mmm how I like sushi:)
But in the end I lost my voice and today it's still gone. I maybe should have stayed at home anyway.
I made a rhubarb pie today but it didn't taste good:( I was lazy enough and bought finished dough..next time I'm doing my own.
I took the last picture a few minutes ago and it shows how dirty our windows are, we should defenitely clean them soon!
Goodnight!
