Saturday night

Our friends cooked some really really good food for us yesterday.
After we walked home through some empty, slippery streets. The snow has already started to melt away.

Thank you so much for the comments in the previous post! Now I have something to think about and also check out some new brands.

About..

I'm really into natural cosmetics! A "trend" that for once isn't unnecessary..and which is here to stay. Good that people get more and more aware of what they eat and put on their skin. We get too much bad stuff in our bodies anyway.

Here are some of my favourites: I love the primavera rose water and weledas almond facial oil!
Also my favourite solid perfumes from lush, karma and breath of god (a scent for guys I think, but I like it too:) But I'm not so sure Lush is really that good, because they sometimes use some very bad ingredients:/ Do you know?

Yesterday I got a new foundation from swedish Smashit which I had ordered, 100% natural & organic. I tried it today and so far it's really good!

Do you have a favourite product that you can recommend?

Into the woods

I love to walk in the woods. It's so quiet and beautiful, especially now during wintertime. It's also nice to lie down in the snow and look up at the snow-covered treetops!

Sun-day

I'm happy-woke up to sunshine today! This winter has otherwise been very dark with almost no sunshine.
Our neighbours downstairs invited us for wine yesterday, nice. We're lucky to have really nice neighbours in the building, almost like a little big family (only 6 apartments in the whole house).

Today I'm eating hot lentilsoup leftovers and cleaning, washing -organizing. Searching for new kitchen lamps on the net..etc.

Time for a home makeover

I'm very inspired to refurnish my home. Haven't had time, + lately I have been focused on other things, but now feels like the right time for it.

I want something new. If I only had the money...good that I like second hand stuff. Also self-made of course:)
Sometimes I get crazy ideas which seems so good in my mind but when it comes to do it it doesn't look good or work out the way I like it to. Now I wanna build my own kitchen table..hmm.
Anyway, I think it's good to refurnish your home now and then. Get inspired too:)

A find and food, one more time

I don't have much to blog about because right now my days are pretty much the same.
So, here is another find from last weekend. A bunch of old hangers. I really like those metal ones.
And a dinner, tried to make a beetroot risotto. It tasted good but could have been more creamy. Cooked it over too high heat I guess.

It's flu times at work but so far I've done just fine. Maybe it's because I spice up my coffee with cardamom every morning:)

Weekend happiness

Found a treasure yesterday. A big old schoolmap of migratory birds! I'm going to show a better picture of it later.
Breakfast is always happiness..

Friday

Weekend, how nice!
Now I'll relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet. A glass of moscato and half dead flowers was my photo objects at home tonight.
I have a few new books I want to start reading, maybe this weekend. Haven't read in a long time!
Also another thing to do; plan new art projects. I haven't done much since my exhibition in October. It makes me a little worried..

Little charmer

My good friend Emma who now lives in Zürich with her husband Mario and their daughter Emilia visited us a few weeks ago. It was the first time I met little Emilia, she was born in May last year. Finally I got to see her! Oh how exciting it was and what a sweetheart she was! Always when I grabbed the camera she began to smile:) Emma gave me some really cute cards made by her sister Kajsa.

Back to work

Slowly getting back to everyday routine again. Today was my first day at work, it felt good (but I'm going to miss sleeping long in the mornings!).
Everything seemed as normal at pre school, I had almost forgotten how fast the day goes. Was fun to see all the kids again, they were so eager to tell about their x-mas gifts.

I can't believe that this is going to be my 5th blog-year! In September to be exact. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, that means A LOT ♥

These are the last shots from Berlin. I wish I had taken more pictures, but the camera is heavy and I didn't want to carry it with me everywhere. I did have my pocket camera with me but totally forgot about it..hm.

Our friends apartment that we stayed in was really great, big and old. Maybe too old because the roof top started to leak when the snow on the roof melted. They live on the highest floor.
Poor them, I hope somebody will fix it soon, otherwise they might have to move away. I reckon that many have or had the same kind of problem there right now.

The old, huge buildings on Karl-Marx-Allé were quite impressive, though some of them looked like they were in a pretty bad shape. I kept on wondering how they look on the inside. I found it all very interesting.

We also met a white berlin-dog that walked confidently down his street:)
