Iceage
I totally forgot to post about this giant hole that we went to check out in July when we were out in the Archipelago. It's a mark left from the iceage, I wonder how deep it is..
The pictures doesn't really show how big and impressive it was, maybe just a bit.
I love the beautiful shapes!

Grå himmel
Rain is in the air all the time.. Today it looked like this.
Well, I had a nice day. Hope you had too!
Nice surreal photography by Robert and Shana Parkeharrison. I especially like the black and white ones.
Oh by the way, this was my 200th post:)
Dedicated to Ebba
The other day I went to my mother for lunch. Little Ebba gets always so overwhelmed when she sees me, dancing and shaking until she starts to "cough" of the exitement (she does like that to everyone).
Does anyone else have a chihuahua who acts like that?
After the lunch I sat down on the couch and started to draw just whatever. Ebba came and wanted to lay on my lap but couldn't as I was drawing, so she accepted the cushion instead.
Sweet and small:)

Raindrops
It was a short summer..It feels like it's been raining the whole August.
But, I read and hear people say that they get much more done when it's bad weather and I think they're absolutely right. Suddenly I got better motivation to work on my projects. But then again I think it's almost the opposite during the winter. I wonder why.

W
My friend's wedding was great yesterday! Everybody were in a good mood and the weather was good. It only drizzled some drops a short while in the evening and a rainbow appeared. The groom was really happy and said it means good luck if it rains on your wedding!
Now I'm going to sleep to the noise of rain and thunder, I don't mind the rain but I hope the thunder will stop soon. Goodnight!

Owls in our home
Giorgio Barrera
Window #11a
Window #22
Window #37c
Yesterday photographer Giorgio Barrera was at our home and took a picture for his "Through the window" project. It was really exiting and different! He stood outside on a big rock ( we live on the 2nd floor), we were in our flat and just did something, pretending that we don't know we're being photographed.
You are able to see us and details in the flat because of the flash he put up which he controlled from the outside.
Right now Giorgio Barrera is travelling through the north (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway) and taking pictures for his project. Our teacher asked us if we wanted to be photographed for the project and we thought it's cool:) The whole thing went really fast, around 1 hour.
So if the photo turned out good, then he'll use it in the series. It was a great experience!
I find his pictures very interesting, there are tiny details that catches the eye and you want to see more but you can't. It almost feel like to spy on someone!

Soot
More finds from todays treasure-hunt!
I'm going to tell you about a really weird and quite creepy place that we went to, which wasn't really a fleamarket but a store that had almost everything. It was damaged by fire years ago and the upper floor is filled with things left from the fire.
Things that no one want and that have been there for many years. It was a true mess, boxes and shelves full of stuff; Burned old 80's toys, books, schoolbags, pencils and rubbers, jewelrys and so on.
We digged out the boxes for hours and found treasure after treasure. Our hands were black of soot when we left! A strange place indeed.

Strawberry tea
Eating breakfast in front of the computer, almost no space for the plate because the table is too messy. Time for a clean-up!

When I came home I ate a spicy lentilsoup with lots of curry and chili. so good!
Last picture is of some nice stamps I bought a while ago. Design by Kustaa Saksi.
Good start of the week!

Abandoned
A quite cool abandoned building in my town.
I find abandoned buildings very fascinating and oh so scary at the same time. It would be nice to go explore those old buildings, but I'd need a big group of people to join so it would be a little less scary.
Found this link when I googled for abandoned buildnings.

Eclipse of the sun
I went to town today with my sister. We ate strawberry-sandwiches and went to take a look at the partial sun eclipse. We didn't see much, could only take a glimpse at the sun. But I did see a dark "halfmoon" on the sun! Otherwise there was no noticeable difference.
Then I bought two new sketchbooks, in colour! My other ones are all in black. But I think I'll use the green one as an agenda.
I love fake Found this link in an old notebook.
Have a great Friday!
