Hello from Berlin!

I'm here since Tuesday and so far it's been great here! We live at our friends place somewhere in Kreuzberg and I really like this part of the city.
I have absolutely no time to blog, but here are some x-mas eve pictures. Focus is on the cats:)

Pink light

Pictures from yesterday and today. My holidays started today, I could finally sleep a little longer..! It's been a beautiful sunny day, but ice cold..now it's -29.
We've been to Rasmus' parents over the day, ate good and exchanged some x-mas gifts;)

Yesterday me and my whole family went out to eat a nice dinner. My mom arrived from Stockholm and she is going to be here for two weeks, I've missed her so much. Sune the cat is here too!

Update on the sickness front: I wrote last week that I felt like I was getting a cold but then I felt better the next day..now I suddenly feel it again. Would be so typical to get sick during christmas and new years eve when I'm in Berlin..Fingers crossed!

Fudge

Hello, hope your weekend has been good! Mine was really good but too short. These pictures are from both last weekend and this one.

Yesterday was a night out with friends, a gig and after that we had a little afterparty in the studio, fun:) Feels like ages since I've done that..

Today has been a cosy day at home. I've been wrapping some x-mas fudge I made some days ago.
Now I'm going to relax for the rest of the evening; the food is in the oven and new episodes of Dexter is waiting;)

Yesterday I got two packages, one from Belgium and one from Australia. Happiness!!
I got the amazing 2011 wall calendar from Sunkentreasure, it's going to look so great on the wall!
From Gracia & Louise I got lovely cards and three folded drawings, wow! Always in a very pretty wrapped package.

Tired

Ugh..I'm so tired and my body hurts, feels like I'm about to catch a cold:/ Hope not. But it feels nice to know that I've only got one week of work left and then it's time for christmas holiday. 13 whole days:)

Of all those days we're going to be in 6 days in Berlin. Nice!

Saturday-dad-day

Me and my dad walked around town, did some shopping and had a coffee at a café. Afterwards we went to a friends vernissage. Very nice!

And now I just came home from a well needed dinner with friends. I call it an easy, enjoyable saturday:)

Oh no, I've been a very bad blogger this week! But it has been a very ordinary week too, nothing really to blog about.
I've been working, eating lots of pistachios, visited my dad + salami the cat and preparing some christmas gifts..can't tell you yet what I'm making because some of them who will get something are reading my blog ;)

OH! The little christmas dinner last Friday went really good! We all had so much fun. It was at a little local resturant in the village where I'm working, good food, nice people and lots of laughter. Unfortunately no pictures!

Feeling christmassy

Ahhh another week is over..now follows a long WEEKEND! On Monday it's our independence day so that's a free day.
Tonight I'm going for a Christmas dinner with my work mates, destination unknown..So let's see where we're gonna end up. But it must be a good place:)

C-c-cold!

Again..Just want you to know that it's super cold here, these days it has been around -20 and more. Not the average temperature for November-December! Normally it's like this in January-February.

Night

Pictures I took Friday night. Tried to capture the beauty of the night but with an old camera it didn't really turn out as I wanted, and then the battery ran out. My hands were too cold for taking pictures anyway.

On Friday I went on a great performance art evening, Platform Live again. I would have taken pictures if I had battery power left.
Saturday was a quiet day at home and today I baked bread + gingerbread, and drank hot mulled wine. A good weekend indeed!

Also forgot to link to artists Chloe Lewis and Andrew Taggart, they have been here as Platforms residency artists in November. They make interesting things.

Buckwheat ♥

My new favorite breakfast is cold buckwheat porridge mixed with a banana, grated apple and blueberries. Topped with a Kiwi! I got this recipe from a friend who's vegan.
Just soak (1 dl) buckwheat in water overnight in the fridge and blend it in the morning with fruit and berries. Add honey if you want it sweeter. I'm sure vanilla extract would work great too.

The other two pictures are taken this afternoon around 15 pm when I drove home from work, yes! I took my camera with me:) I stopped and took some pictures but had to quit because my fingers were so cold. It's freezing here!!
