Megaman

How can I get so addicted to Megaman?! I loved it when I was a kid and now I got M.M III and M.M IIII old Nintendo games from Rasmus!
I know, I am supposed to be a grown up but when it comes to nintendo I guess I'm still like a child:)
There's a risk I skip school for this. I can say that I'm sick just so that I can stay home and play Megaman...

Pacman

I'm pretty happy about todays work, finally I got my "painting-mood" back. I will make a set of around 8 paintings on wood and I started today. I'm actually gonna paint from photos which I normally don't do. Don't know how long this will take but I'll put up some pictures of it later.
Yey, tomorrow I'm going to Vasa again over the weekend. Will be nice to see my family and last but not least....Spöke!

Who doesn't like the oldschool Moomin style? I bought theese postcards in the shop of Kuntsi museum of modern art in Vasa. There they had many different ones but I guess you probably can find them in almost any place! At least here in Finland:)

There is a very very nice second hand shop/café/art shop called Malakta in Malax, a village outside of Vasa. I have been there only once and I got amazed by it! So cute and filled with nice second hand finds, also re-made things I guess. They are having a Christmas market there soon and people are welcome there to buy and sell creative things. I'm sure I will be there!

I got this book from my dad on my birthday! He had bought it somewhere in Copenhagen. Beautiful art. I love it!

A new week started again! I'm off today so I will just be at home and take it easy.

Later I will start with a BIG drawing :) It's Pyssel-time tonight! Didn't know the word "pyssla" in English but I checked it out and it means "pottering, to potter"...?

I had a really nice birthday yesterday! First my family came, we ate tortillas and had a good time. A few hours later the party started!


I made the "rainbow" cake and Rasmus made the heart cake.

Party tomorrow

Tomorrow I'm turning 24. So I will have a party! Right now I'm thinking of what kind of cake I'm going to make...I want to make the cake to look a little different, not just a normal creamcake with strawberries. Hmmm....;)

My bathroom wall looks like this so far. I just have to hang up more pictures and it will look nicer! It's a mix of photos and stuff. The bathroom lamp is broken so I put a small tablelamp there until I fix it. A bit dark in there now..

Old frames

I found these frames yesterday when I went to the fleamarket looking for a "flowertable". I decided that my bathroom wall is going to be full of art:) So far I put up two pictures there but it will look nicer now when I've got more frames. I will take away the old pictures from the frames and replace them with something else...but maybe I should keep the picture of the great old man as it is? :)

Time for Christmas gift preparations...

I really like making my own Christmas gifts. It's nicer to get and give something that is handmade..When I was a kid me and my best friend started making gifts already in July or something:) maybe a bit too early. (but we gave away things from our homes too..my mom wasn't too happy when I had given our garlic crusher away to someone).

Right now I have many ideas what to make and give away! Hope they turn out to be as good as they are in my thoughts..

I haven't done A N Y T H I N G today! Even though there's so much to do...aaargh! Have to deal with it tomorrow. Anyway, soon me and Rasmus are going to make carrotbread:)

The first snow!

I'm home again after a nice weekend in Vasa. It started to snow on Saturday morning! The first snow always feels great and it makes everything so bright. Now when it is November the days get darker, only a few hours light during the day:( So I hope the snow will stay.

It was so nice to see everyone, and spöke too of course:) But I didn't take her with me. She loves being at my dads place, plus I think she made a lot of cat-friends there too!

Today I'm going to Vasa over the weekend. My cat Spöke is now living at my dads place in Vasa since a while, maybe it's time for her to come home to me now. I miss her! This is not a very good picture of her, she's not very photogenic you see;)
