At the quarry

Quarries, a little scary right? Me and my sisters went to this quarry this evening, wanted to swim. First we searched for another place in the forest that we did not find, so we went to this place instead.
Nice one but it looked a bit dangerous. Although one of my sisters has swum there before. Apparently someone had been there before us and left an untouched pizza on the edge!

No swimming, just pictures.

Stockholm randoms

Haha I'm so lazy these HOT summerdays.. Here I squeezed in some photos of my Stockholm trip! Hope it don't take too long to load the page.

I'm not going to say much, only that it was a great week (again)! Spent time with my mom, aunt and cousins, and of course Sune:)

On the ferry back..

I had no time for blogging during the week either - now here's a short update!
My days in Stockholm was super..I don't wanna go back home. One week of vacation goes way too fast.

Will post more pictures of my trip tomorrow! Now I'm stuck on the ferry for 6 more hours.


How was your week?

A party

Platforms artist in residence Amal Laala (Morocco) organized a GREAT party on Friday at an old storage building. Fun, nice atmosphere:)

Now I'm blogging from a boat between Finland-Sweden, passing many yachts and islands before we hit the high seas! Me and my sister decided to go to Stockholm by boat because it was ridiculously cheap. One disadvantage is the long trip..10hours instead of 1 hour (expensive) flight!

I'm really looking forward to this week, they promise good weather:) I will try to update at least once but more when I'm back home.

Warm days

A warm week has passed, but I have mostly been indoors at work.. 2 more workdays and then vacation..feels good.

I bought strawberries and a bottle of Rosé, soon off to the park!

Jewelry

Some of my jewelry, mostly rings in a glass cabinet from Iittala I got as an graduation gift from R's brother and wife ♥

Plexiglass pieces in different colours, I got plenty of them in all colours! Think I've posted something about them here before last year.
Want to make something of them, last year I made a temporary, simple necklace. I might want to cut them into shapes. But how to cut plexiglass??

Weekend 2

More pictures. Mosquitoes, more food and swimming. We didn't really eat proper midsummer food, just a little barbequing.
Patrik, our masterchef of the weekend had prepared some korean food like Kimchi, noodle salad, peanut sauce etc. It was so good!
Jan brought "surströmming" but I would NEVER even touch that, though I started to eat fish again couple of months ago. The awful smell is way enough!

Interesting facts: I spotted a "geotrupes stercorarius"(tordyvel in swedish) on almost the same place as last year;)

Weekend 1

This weekend has been so great! I had so much fun with the best, silly crazy summer "gang" ever. Always enjoy their company:) The weather was good, we ate good, went to the sauna and I took my first swim of the year;)

Bad thing was the mass of mosquitoes, they were everywhere..!
