Fourth day/night

Early morning in Berlin.

Third and fourth day

The third day was a calm day and I didn't take that many photos either. We walked around, visited our friend Ulrika in her studio and ate a pizza in her backyard. Then we didn't do much more and ended the day with an evening snack of cheese and strawberries.

The next day we went to the food market where I bought a lovely, lovely homemade coriander pesto! In the evening we went to a cosy russian bar in Kreuzberg.

Second day

Party-day in brief.
Coffee in the morning while I wrote a card to a friend. It was Rasmus birthday so we went to drink a glass of exclusive champagne, and it was sooo good. Wish I could have afford a bottle.
Then we met up with friends in a park. We drank wine, ate strawberries and played mini-crockett:) Unfortunately the weather wasn't so warm so we went out to a bar later on.
It was a fun day!

Berlin: the first day

We arrived early in the morning to Friedrichshain where our friends now live. They have a really nice flat, wish I could move in.
When we visited them last winter they lived in Kreuzberg but had to move away because of a leaking rooftop.. I wrote about that in this post.

I had slept very poorly the night before on hard benches at Helsinki airport (!)
So I took a two hour nap and then we went out walking around their hoods.
It rained, we bought "some" wine and I met a sweet dog named Don:)

And it was only the beginning.

Back!

I'm back! Berlin was OH so great. I already miss the city, the people and the liveliness.
I took a lot of pictures. Think I'm gonna post many of them here, but for now only this picture.

I also met Sandra! It was so nice to see her after following her blog many years. She was just as nice in real life too:)

Blossoms

BAH I must bore you with all these nature pictures. I just think it's so fascinating to see how it's summer again (after again a looong winter) And I do think it's beautiful.

But be ready for some concrete soon, Berlin calling! :)

Tearing down the house

Suddenly they started to tear down a old abandoned house next to where I live. While I was eating icecream and taking pictures, of course.

Celebration

Two of my cousins got their matriculation exam yesterday!
It was party day and night with family and friends, fun fun!
