A weekend with a little bit of everything

Another good weekend has passed! Friend Anna came over on Saturday, we cooked dinner and later more friends joined and we went to see Cats on Fire.
The glitter and homemade teeth are for a party next week:) Maybe you can guess what kind of party it is..

I'm in a period when I love fresh springrolls, could eat them every day. I bought cheap fabric yesterday, maybe I'll do some pillowcases of it.

(Almost) a sleepless night

Lots of ideas were spinning around in my head last night. Every time I was about to fall asleep a new idea popped up :)

Tonight I'm hoping for more ideas but also a good sleep.

Morning-evening

I love these cold&sunny days. Yesterday it snowed a little bit for the first time but it didn't stay (of course, not yet). My family arrived from Barcelona today and they were shocked by the cold weather here, in Barcelona it was around 25-30°C every day..

I ate the best pizza at our friends place on Saturday and later we met up with more friends danced like crazy:) Unfortunately I have no pictures to show.

Today I haven't gotten much done..now I'm baking bread and after that I'm going to continue doing nothing. Tomorrow is a more busy day, and I expect to get much done then instead.

Hösten

Yes there was a storm but yesterday and today was sunny and cold, the perfect autumn weather. I've been taking small walks with this indoor cat, Sune!

Tonight, a cosy evening at home and tomorrow dinner with some friends. Happy weekend everyone!

Jackdaws

These jackdaws are flying around in circles over and near our house every evening almost the exact same time, 20.00! Often there are like hundreds of them, so much more than on these pictures.

My family flies to Barcelona for a week tomorrow, so I'm going to take care of the animals;)

More about food..

Yesterdays food. We made pizza, mine with spinach, artichoke and mozzarella. It became a little too thick than I'm used to but good anyway! I made the brownies the day before to a "housemeeting" we had at our place, mmm ;)

Coffee

I recently started to grind coffee beans instead of using normal ground coffee and it taste so much better! It's worth the effort.

Have a look at Mettes coffee-ritual, you can use some advice from her!

We're putting up things on the walls now..They have been quite empty.

Tomato harvest!

My tomato plant is almost giving up but I got quite many small tomatoes. Thinking of maybe doing this tomorrow!

Parasite Art event

Two pictures from Friday and the show. It was filled with noise, videos, photos, turkish food, tattoos and a performance. It was successful and fun.

The Blue Mosque

Last Istanbul pictures.
One day we visited the Blue Mosque. The first time ever I went in to a mosque, it was exciting! Inside it was very impressive and BIG.
The last picture is Hagia Sophia which we unfortunately didn't had time to visit but it was next to the blue mosque so at least I could see it from the outside..

Ok. After these pictures I will post the last Istanbul pictures. I still have a lot more but I think it's enough now and time to go back to my "normal bloglife":)

I've been very busy this week, work and planning/helping for the show we're having tonight at Platform wohoo! + I've been painting the hall, yes finally, we chosed to paint it in grey! Pictures coming soon.
