As you noticed, I have been gone a few days. I have lots of things to do and I don't have time to blog:( So I will take a 1 week break. Suitable for Easter,

Sharp

Studio day, doing other things when I take a little break from working on the project...Today I sent in the last scholarship application + an application for a 1 year teaching studies for next year. I don't think I'll get in but it's worth a try:)

It's Friday and I'm off to my job(!) for a vernissage, I'm not working tonight but I'm just going to "socialize" haha..even though I'm very tired but wanna see some friends. Happy weekend!

Kiwi

Something about me: I rarely eat kiwi because my mouth starts to itch a bit when I eat it. But I noticed if I mix it with yoghurt I don't get any problems..:) It's good for breakfast.

Now I'm off to work nr.2!

Lunch break

I've got some time to sneak in a quick post! Forgot to bring my lunch to the studio so I came home and made myself an omelette. Today is a beautiful day and I wish I could go for a walk but I have to use all my time to finish my exam work! Soon, soon..

Pale weather

The day started with sunshine which later turned into a pale gray light.
I was at my dad's place for dinner and took Sune out for a short walk. Apperantly he did not really like the feeling of snow and ice under his sensetive paws as he shook them all the time. Otherwise he loves to be outside on a sunny summerday:)

Home alone

I'm spending this Saturday evening at home, making it cozy with magic lights. YES I bought the Cosmos Light Lamp. I had to get it after reading Famapas post about it! Love it!

Fleamarketfinds

A tray and a necklace. Don't know why I bought the tray, it was something about it that caught my eye. It will probably end up in the studio.
I'm thinking of painting the necklace black or darkbrown...or maybe yellow! What do you think??

Growing more

I'm back home. It was such a nice stay in Stockholm with my mother. A relaxing little holiday, but I didn't write that much at all on my thesis. So I have to speed up on it now, only a bit over 1 month left!!

Today

Went to Magasin 3, I loved the Tom Friedman exhibition and also the amazing pearl and rope sculptures by Maria Nepomuceno.

Stockholm

A few hours in the city and then home for a relaxing bath and then my mother gave me a hand and footmassage, I feel just like a spoilt child;) I'm here in Stockholm until Tuesday, I'm going to relax, spend time with my mother and maybe see some relatives and friends AND write on my thesis. Hope you're having a nice Saturday:)

A while ago R found an old accordion in the basement, the owners said he could take it or bring it to the fleamarket, so he took it! Would be nice to know how to play it, but seems to be very difficult. I think I like the box more.. :)

This month it's 1 year since we moved in to our flat! I LOVE it. We have not yet painted the floor, but soon I hope.

Today I bought an Ugli fruit. And Sune wants to say hello to all of you:)

I met the judges (assessor?) for my graduate project today for the first time and presented my idea, I think it went well.

- Museum-work today and after that studio-work.
- The snow has melted even more and I'm feeling fine.
- I'm going to Stockholm to visit my Mom on Friday, fun!

Away

Days have passed-no blogging! I've been 2 days in Helsinki and simply lazy. I have to allow myself to be that sometimes..
I can assure you that the weather is today very sunny and less depressing as in my previous post. I can even hear the snow melting and falling off the roof!

Dead town

Pictures from our walk yesterday and one from the livingroom window. We walked down to the seaside and it was stormy, cold and empty. And dark because it was just before the streetlights turned on.
Now you understand why I long for summer and sun!!

Writing

Been home all day relaxing and I also did some writing on my final thesis..When R came home we went out for a walk to get some fresh air in the heavy snowstorm brr.
