Basil in 3 pots

I love basil and this year I'm growing it in three pots! In case one of them wouldn't make it.. Planning to plant them all together in a big pot.

I still haven't really had ANY inspiration to do my own art..again and again it's frustrating. I couldn't live without art or being able to do something creative but I hate the anxiety that it gives you sometimes.
But.. I feel like I'm slowly getting back on track, and it feel soooo good:)
Why always these ups & downs??

did you buy little seeds of basil ?
i nees to do that ! cause it's lovely plants, and it's useful :)

inspiration is tricky, sometimes it comes when you don't have time at all.. and sometimes you can spend hours in front of a canavas or paper and not be able to come up with anything good..

alice, yes I bought little seeds! and you have to give water to them every day, very important that they don't get dry (or too wet):)

tricky it is indeed..when I get inspiration I should do the thing right then, cause if i wait too long and trying to do it later on, then I often don't have the same good feeling about it...

I know the ups and downs very well. and have no recipe against it.. I'm sorry.
the only thing I can say:
ups and downs are normal - everybody has them.
probably they try to learn us patience?

I know the pleasure of growing your own plants ( my lemon tree and flowers in pots) but I never tried growing herbs.. maybe it should be next on my list?

schanett, I know..it makes me crazy sometimes! that's a big - in the "artlife"...but you have a good point in that it might learn us patience! like it comes something good out of it in the end.

karolina, you should definitely grow your own herbs! they taste and smell so good;) lucky you who have your own lemontree!

Oh the ups and downs, I think they come with being creative. I love basil too, though I have no luck with growing it.

I love basil, too... such a great smelling herb. Unfortunately I am no good at growing it. Oregano, rosemary and other chums prove a breeze but not basil.

Here's hoping you have green thumbs, g

I like the little plants...I wanna grow them too! :)

The inspiration thing...oh well...I try to just let it be. It always helps to think your head needs a little processing time for a new inspiration wave or something :)
