Rest

I have been feeling a bit weird the last few days and went to the doctor yesterday where it was found that I have way too high blood pressure! Which is very strange because I'm young and living a healthy life. Scary. It is probably due to stress so I have to take it easier and rest. That doesn't really fit into my life situation right now:/

My mother moved to Stockholm today! Sune the sleepy cat is also moving with her but after Easter.

My pelargonium I sowed weeks ago started to grow!

Building process of the islands, erased landscapes. More of close-up shots because they are far from finished, I don't want to show too much yet.
It's so much fun and challenging also because I'm working in a way that I never worked before, with different materials..Nervous moments, ups and downs. It has so far turned out so different than I thought and the end result will maybe be something totally else.

Nevertheless I'm determined to make it work as I want!

Hello! It's been a 'quiet' weekend, work, work and more work. I'm building islands..I'll show a picture of it tomorrow:)
Found this old picture and I wonder where I have that woollen pullover..It's COLD outside and also a snowstorm, I'm freezing. I wonder when this winter is going to end..phew!

Days

I'm not doing much of interest these days, working in the studio mostly and not taking any pictures.
The weather is still sunny but yesterday it snowed even more! ?
These two are from an overexposed Sunday-walk on the countryside and yesterdays breakfast :)

Sunshine, sunshine almost every day! Spring is on it's way, maybe?

1. My middle name is Sabrina and I hated it when I was a kid, now I got more used to it.

2. I have a huge fear that my home would burn down, so I tend to always check the stove twice before i leave..almost like a compulsion, no? :)

3. I loved building treehouses when I was a kid, and I also planned to live there when I got older

4. I am addicted to hand cream and lip balm

5. I'm a dreamer, but that doesn't mean I don't know the reality

Hello Friday!

Not much left of this Friday but still a few hours!
Hope your weeks has been nice. Mine has been almost exactly as I wrote on Monday. I got much done, and my cold is basically gone.

Today was a sunny day, I have been in the studio and sent a scholarship application, wohoo (3 more to go) and just came home from a dinner out. We drank a drink based on sea buckthorn, very sour but I think (hope) it was healthy. Wine and good food + dessert.
Now I'm going to finish this day with the documentary Home.

A new week

Hello! Hope you had a nice weekend.

I'm still sick. Have a lot to do though, not the best combination! If you do not hear from me in a few days I am busy working (cutting styrofoam for my installation) drinking ginger/lemon tea, nibble on throat pastilles and apply for scholarships.

Longing for spring

Feathers for a little picture-project. Then some old early-spring/summer pictures which I might have posted here before some years ago..but I couldn't help myself. I miss spring AND summer so much right now! To walk in the woods and have a picnic somewhere.

And I caught a cold. It never broke out a few weeks ago but now it did. I don't have to lie in bed, except for a bit sore throat and running nose I'm ok:)

Going through my clothes, I have way too much that I don't wear. Need to do something. Bring them to a charity shop for example. Except for this ugly/nice knitted sweater that I recently thrifted:)

Studio details

Most of my days will look quite the same these weeks. I'm spending most of the time in my studio and some other days I work at the museums. The graduation project will follow me in my mind all the time.
Now that I seriously have begun working on the the visual part, I'm slightly getting nervous about the written part of my work. Have to collect all notes and start working out a text very soon.

Kitchen details

I bought a bunch of cheap tulips, feels spring-like. I'm just too tired of snow and to freeze all the time! I'm hoping for an early spring this year.

Weekend is over. We ate good food, saw a gig and said goodbye to Jasa, our new friend who went back to Slovenia:(

It's encouraging today to see a brilliant blue sky and sunshine, yesterday was awfully grey and snowy. Have a good February 1st!
