Theatre yesterday and soon it's next year

Me + sisters + mom went to see a play at the theater yesterday, afterwards we ate at the little restaurant nearby. It was nice.

This is the last day of this decade, tomorrow it's 2010!! How will you celebrate/how did you celebrate?
I'm going to a party outside of town, I think it'll be fun:)

Hope you had nice Christmas days!
Besides all the fun and cosyness I got a new tiny ixus pocketcamera, this one I can truly carry with me everywhere.
Maybe this means I'm going to post more here next year, it could be a New Year's promise! I think I promised that last year too..

Monday

Dinner+friends

Had sushi at my friend Linnéas place yesterday. It was yesterday instead of last Monday as I wrote back then, we misunderstood each other! She and her cousin recently moved in together to a new flat, they have it very cozy. I took more pics of the place but unfortunately they are too blurry:/

Winter

It snowed a lot last night! And they say it's here to stay (for the winter:) These pictures I took on my way to work and got late because I was ALREADY late.. The museum I work at is located down by the sea. It looked nice with the mist over the ice.

This is not a food blog

Got inspired by Kimberley from When skies are grey so I tried to make a Key lime pie! (had of course only ordinary limes) It was the first time I made and ate one. It was very good, think I will make it again someday.
I took a simple recipe from the internet, they are all almost the same. I made mine with meringue but you can skip that.

Today was calm anyway

OK so I've had a boring day! Taking boring pictures of a daily routine, food and coffeemaking:) I've just been planning and sketching for my project but that's it. My friend Linnéa invited us for dinner tonight, so that'll be the highlight of the day! The real stress starts tomorrow.

Now it's even harder to take good pictures with this camera, too dark.

Sat+sun

Huge portions of chinese food, vegetables in hot chilisauce. It's sometimes SO good, like it was yesterday.
Today was calm and lazy. Tomorrow and the next upcoming days will be less calm I think. Work work work and fixing the rest of the christmas presents, etc.

Drove through this today. It's getting colder, the white you see is not snow but frost.

I wish I could post a bit more happy-coloured pictures than these today. But this is reality, and reality means it's Friday, wohoo;)

Trees

Helsinki was fun! We had a very tight schedule so the weekend went really fast. A nice birthday party with yummy cakes! We also managed to see the Pipilotti Rist exhibition on the last day of the show and I loved it.

I hardly took any pictures, these three are from the flat we stayed at. We bought ourselves a Norfolk tree, inspired by Sandras:)

I'm in a hurry, we're going to Helsinki over the weekend for Rasmus brothers 30th birthday and to see friends while we're there.

Good news comes with sunshine

Finally some sunshine today! Not enough but still something. I've been at home sewing and drawing.

And I've got GOOD NEWS; we got a new studio space today!! You all must wonder what's wrong with us when we switch studios all the time..In fact this will be the third time this year!
Well, the last one we had was too far away and too expensive so we decided to leave and apply for a better one, which we now got:)
It feels so good because I'm really in a need of a workspace now when I'm doing my graduation project and not working in my school. More about this later!
