Ginseng-lemon tea

Looks like today is going to be a beautiful day! Wonderful, because today we celebrate Valborg or Vappen as we normally say here:) So tonight we're going out for dinner and later we'll meet up with some friends.
I'm happy that I did not get the cold! Even if I still feel a bit like it's waiting to break out sooner or later..

Good food and good light

This afternoon/evening I had a veggie burger and a studio visit. I should spend more sunny evenings in my studio. These pictures doesn't show it right (blurry and overexposed..) but I guess you can imagine the nice light:)
The little fox heads are for a little project I'm hopefully going to do soon.

The pictures are now a bit bigger than before, I'm testing if it would look better or not! Hmm ok, maybe it doesn't look so good now because the pictures are so bad but hopefully next time.

Update!
I tried to make them bigger and it seemed like it worked but then the blog anyway cropped the images! Can anyone help me how to do it right? I'm sure it is just one little stupid thing that I missed..

Technical problems!

I was going to post pictures from my (boring & gray) day but suddenly something went wrong with the memorycard and it didn't work to transfer the photos to my computer:(

Anyway, I finally got my own camera back, it took too long! Been using Rasmus camera all the time now and got really used to it. But good to have my own back, now I just have to fix the memorycard.

After the weekend

So many are sick right now, R got a cold yesterday and I'm afraid that I will get sick too..I'm eating vitamines and drinking healthy tea. Today I made a very spicy Indian Dal soup with lots of garlic and chili, so good and I hope it helps to keep the germs away.

Firewood

We got this wonderful gift from Rasmus' parents! A firewood rack from Artek. It can also be used for stacking magazines.

At home

Sunny days like today are very much needed! I hope the rest of the week will stay the same.

Did I mention that we don't have a wardrobe yet? We will finally get one tomorrow!! F I N A L L Y. I'm getting crazy having all the clothes in bags & boxes..

My boyfriend Rasmus had a gig in Moscow (!) yesterday and when he came back home today he gave me this litte blue Matryoshka doll:) He also took the pictures of the St. Basil's Cathedral, it looks so fairy tale-like! (gingerbread-house:)

Basil in 3 pots

I love basil and this year I'm growing it in three pots! In case one of them wouldn't make it.. Planning to plant them all together in a big pot.

I still haven't really had ANY inspiration to do my own art..again and again it's frustrating. I couldn't live without art or being able to do something creative but I hate the anxiety that it gives you sometimes.
But.. I feel like I'm slowly getting back on track, and it feel soooo good:)

One more day off

Today- going to visit a new fleamarket in town! Later I'm hopefully going to my studio or work on something at home. I need to do something!

Woooh! Sorry for this long blog-break!
Here are some pictures from the past few days days. My sweet great grandmother (my grandmother's mother) turned 95 years, hurray;) Someone had painted her nails pink, she asked if the paint is going to stay on her nails until her next birthday:) She didn't really like it I think..

Yesterday we made sushi, not really Easter food but we're anyway not much into that tradition anymore. When I was a kid it was more fun, we decorated the house and dressed up as little witches or rabbits and went from door to door collecting candy in old coffeepots. That is an Easter tradition here in the North.

Sweets

I made some cupcakes today:) It was much easier than I thought. Actually I plan to make some for a party and I wanted to try out some recipes. Do you know any good ones?

Today I've been taking it easy, these last days have been so hectic. Work work work because of exhibition change. Yesterday I worked until 22 p.m, ugh. But still I'm happy to have a work.
