2 different things

I made avocadosalad for lunch today!
Mostly I've got bad luck with avocados. I try to not pick the really soft ones but then when I think I bought the perfect avocados, they are hard and dry when I cut them apart. Even if I let them ripen for a few days.
Does anyone have a good advice for me?

And...pieces of something I'm doing in school. I'll show what it is tomorrow!

  4. Put the avocado and a banana in a plastic bag for a few days (sometimes it even is good enough for a few hours). Then the avocado is perfect.
I read this somewhere(in my chemistry book I think). The banana contains a lot of ethylene (C2H4). Maybe you know the rest but ethylene makes the fruits rip and ready to eat.
Good luck with your avocados ;)
